BOOK – APPROACH
To put it simply, retrieving is nothing more than carrying an object from A to B. This ability is actually innate in every dog. You only have to specifically train your dog if retrieving has to serve a specific purpose and be carried out according to people's ideas. What is a must for the hunting dog, a discipline for the sporty dog and a service for the service dog, is an ideal and varied employment opportunity for the family companion dog. Dogs and humans grow together as a team because retrieving is also a matter of trust. Creativity in the task on the part of humans and the subsequent solution by the dog make everyday life more exciting. This is not about stupid “chasing of balls”, but rather about mutual development as well as games and fun for both sides – a game together.
