The Balance Donut gives your dog one continuous, round training surface that can respond in different directions. This lets you vary paw positions and standing exercises without laying out several separate targets.
Depending on the exercise, you can involve the front paws, hind paws or several paws and work on calm holds and controlled weight shifts.
Donut or a small paw target?
A Balance Pod or Small Balance Bone gives one paw a very precise target. The donut provides more continuous space and greater freedom in paw positioning. It is useful when the exercise should involve more than one isolated paw target.
Set the firmness to suit the task
Air pressure affects how firm or yielding the donut feels. More surface movement is not automatically better. Choose a setting that allows your dog to stand calmly and perform the planned task with control.
