This system is designed for two purposes: as a V-shaped training slalom and as a straight competition slalom.

This makes it especially useful for step-by-step weave training and later for straight, rule-oriented competition-style setups.

Why choose a V weave instead of only a normal competition slalom?

The poles can be opened at an angle first and then gradually closed until they form a straight line.

This can make weave training easier for many dogs because the line is initially more open and easier to understand.

As the dog becomes more confident, the angle can be reduced until the slalom is set up straight like a competition weave.

Who is this weave set suitable for?

It is suitable for structured weave foundation work, advanced training and competition-style practice.

It is useful for trainers, dog schools and ambitious teams who want one piece of equipment for both training progression and rule-based straight-line work.

Because it can be changed from V-shape to straight line, the same system can be used across different training phases.

What makes the setup practical?

The poles are screw-mounted and can be loosened, angled and fixed again using the screw system.

This allows fast switching between an open training setup and a straight competition line.

The outriggers can also be secured in the ground with anchors for a stable outdoor setup.

Training tip

Start with a clearly opened angle and only reduce it once your dog moves safely and fluently through the setup.

This helps your dog understand the line and entry more easily before the weave is converted into the straight competition form.

Short, clean repetitions are often more useful than many fast repetitions in a row.
